SongMaps Rye is now entering its next stage. Our in-person workshops with our wonderful participants have now finished – ending with a talk from local anthropologist Kate Giles. Thanks so much to Kate and all the speakers who have shared their local knowledge with us: Paul Hodges, Andy Dinsdale from Strandliners and Dr Barry Yates from our partner organisation Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.
Our artists now have a wealth of material to look through – from hand drawn local maps to burning questions generated from our Open Space sessions – all contributing to a final presentation of ideas and suggestions for the future of SongMaps Rye and engagement in Rye itself.

Over the week, we'll meet artists and activists, practice public speaking, activism, and storytelling, and get creative. You'll receive £15 a day to cover food and travel —it's going to be wicked.
